Manage your business
We understand that being a responsible business needs to be a shared goal. We’re here to support you by delivering solutions that protect the people in your business from pest risks while helping to contribute to your sustainability objectives.
As your partners, we’re focused on reducing the environmental impact of the services we provide to your business by finding better ways to help you tackle pests on your premises.
A responsible business needs partners who deliver effective solutions with a lower environmental impact. That’s why we’re committed to innovating low-impact, high-performance products that effectively protect your premises without compromising your sustainability goals.
For businesses with strong sustainability commitments, reducing chemical dependency is no longer optional, it’s essential. With integrated pest management and digital monitoring, we help our customers stay compliant with tightening regulations and maintain effective, audit-ready pest prevention programmes.

Responsible businesses require a partner who isn’t just meeting today’s standards, but is actively working to develop the next generation of more sustainable solutions. We understand that a true commitment to sustainability means constantly investing in the future.
Digital risk assessments: We’re updating and deploying digital Environmental Risk Assessments via an app. Our technicians and surveyors use this tool to assess the specific environment, area size, and climate, ensuring they deliver the most appropriate treatment.
Targeting high-risk chemicals: We maintain a comprehensive database that classifies and grades all our chemicals according to their environmental risk. Our dedicated task forces, including those aligned with the Task Force on Nature-related Financial Disclosure (TFND) framework, regularly meet to discuss chemical risks and prepare strategies to minimise these environmental impacts.
Fumigant innovation: To meet our target of a 70% reduction in emissions by 2030, a dedicated task force is in place to discuss the latest challenges, opportunities, and innovations in the fumigant sector. By driving continuous improvement in this specialised area, we successfully reduced fumigation-related emissions by 5% in 2024 alone, contributing to a total 21% reduction over the last two years.
Under our parent company, Rentokil Initial, we’re taking the necessary steps to help our customers tackle their environmental impact while working towards our goal of reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.
We believe in partnering with suppliers who share our environmental and ethical values, and we use globally recognised standards to ensure this.
Our own dedication to these principles was recognised in 2025 when we received the EcoVadis Silver Sustainability Medal, placing us in the top 15% of all companies assessed. EcoVadis is the world's most geographically spread and most comprehensive provider of sustainability ratings, which assesses the widest ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) categories via third-party assessment. A key part of EcoVadis certification is the assessment of Sustainable Procurement.
We apply the same rigorous standards to our own partners. Where available, we prioritise independent, third-party certifications, such as EcoVadis. When external certification is limited, we use our own comprehensive internal rating, conducting assessments against the Rentokil Initial Supplier Management Standard. This standard is regularly reviewed to ensure it meets the highest criteria.
In just over five years, Rentokil Initial has reduced its overall plastic use in packaging and products by 830.7 tonnes.
We’re expanding our battery recycling programmes across our global operations. For example, our team in the Pacific region has successfully diverted 56% of batteries from landfills and recycled 27,819kg of them.
In Europe, we're now recycling 71% of all batteries.
As members of EV100, we’re committed to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles. Our goal is to have 100% of our global fleet made up of ultra-low-emission vehicles (ULEVs) by 2040.
We’ve pledged to only work with suppliers who align with our environmental values and will continue to establish strong relationships with climate-change charities and communities worldwide.
Our award-winning online learning hub, U+, includes a wide range of courses covering many different topics relevant to the business and designed to help RI employees thrive.
Among the training courses, several are dedicated to sustainability, designed to help our colleagues champion sustainable and responsible practices in their roles within the business, in their communities and with stakeholders. Since 2022, our team has completed 4,965 courses dedicated to sustainability.
With our Rentokil Initial Cares programme, we support local and global initiatives that align with our purpose of Protecting People, Enhancing Lives and Preserving our Planet.
Over the last five years, donations and matched funding have totalled over £2.5 million, supporting our long-term partnerships to protect lives from malaria, enhance community health, and fight deforestation.
